It’s been a long time coming but I’m finally going to start on Lost Hope. It’s a sci-fi Horror novella I wrote about a year ago. I’ve wanted to rewrite it for a while, but things got in the way. Two days from now, the journey starts anew. I have new ideas to infuse into the original draft and it should be quite entertaining. I’ll leave you now with a quick excerpt.
I watched, as my father stabbed his knife in the side of the colonist’s neck. Blood gushed onto his hands and dripped down his arms. The look in his eyes, pure ecstasy, as the prey withered and dropped to the floor. I watched the game come to an end through the eyes of the fearful animal. But I also realized we would eat well for the next year.
