Some Poetry for a Bloody Valentine’s Day

My Valentine

I feel my heart has taken a sickness I can’t explain.

My need for you has broken all barriers;

You are the quintessence of life;

Your heart is the desire I held in my hand.

Only to find that you had no propensity for love.

I was deceived into your way of thinking

You pulled me into a quagmire of your lust.

Why do you think me the fool in your game?

I have needs too. My hunger for your body?

The taste of you is what I desire.

Your heart beats within my flesh,

And I am stronger now, I feel invincible.

You hang in front of me and I feed on your essence,

Your heart beats in me, your body sustains me.

I taste you and all that you are.

My love, you will never cheat me again, for this I am certain.

Your heart is before me and I feed earnestly.

My Valentine you are, and soon, all will see,

This, the beauty of my creation.

Your heart beats in me, and I will be forever grateful

That you have given this sacrifice, be it not by your will, but mine alone.

I pin your skin to this wall and eat your beating organ,

You, the taste of love that I gave,

As freely as the night that encompasses my mood.

You masqueraded in the guise of wanting

I sought to love you wholly, and all I got was your betrayal.

So, my need for the taste of human flesh

Has so egregiously been met? Maybe it has.

Because your heart beats inside of me and I know we are one

You, my Valentine, forever to me.

  For Love and Blood

Spacious caverns of blood the heart does hold

Bleeding from the head to toe

Holding and pumping the life-giving fluids

Precious cargo of viscous crimson your body holds

Hold me in your loving embrace

Can you give me none of your saving grace?

All is blood beneath the flesh

Forgive me to take what is needed

My taste for you cannot be satisfied

If thirst isn’t satiated, then the need becomes longing

My love, your blood, and my life intertwined

Burning desire takes hold of me when I feel your arteries pumping

The fluids that sustain all life inside you

I must have to feed me and make us one

For am I not reborn in the image of blood?

Bowls to drink when it is released

I freely give to you what makes me whole

And gives me immortality to keep this vessel flowing

We will never know death nor pain or even wanting

My love for you will be always and you will grow to love me

I promise fulfillment and peace do these things appeal to you?

Then give to me your life and blood, let me drink, and you will live forever.
